Summary

Le Bret warns Cyrano that his bold behaviour is creating enemies, but Cyrano proudly says he wants only to be admirable. He then confesses his love for Roxane and reveals his fear that his appearance makes love impossible. Roxane’s duenna arrives with a private message.
