Montfleury

Montfleury is a large actor whose appearance as Prince Florizel makes him the centre of a restless theatre. His “fat frame” and booming delivery draw Cyrano’s contempt, while his frightened attempts to continue show how vulnerable a performer becomes when another person seizes control of the stage.
