Rainbow's End Study Guide
Set in 1950s country Victoria, Rainbow’s End follows three generations of a Koori family living by the river’s edge. As Gladys dreams of better housing and education for her daughter Dolly, Nan protects the strength of their past while Dolly longs for a future of her own. Warm, witty and deeply moving, the play asks: can hope, family and courage make room for a fairer life? Despite the challenges around them, Gladys insists that “people is what matters.”
